Interfaces that understand
the value of time and money.

Roberto Salazar

I've spent the last 5+ years designing complex financial products at BITA GmbH in Frankfurt — always as the sole designer, always working directly with product, engineering, and business stakeholders. No hand-holding, no design team to defer to. Just decisions, delivery, and accountability.

My work sits at the intersection of high-complexity data and real usability. The people using what I design manage billions in assets. When an interface is confusing, they don't lose time — they lose money. That constraint sharpens every decision I make.

I'm currently open to new opportunities at established companies where design is taken seriously and the problems are worth solving.

I start from the problem, not the frame. Before opening Figma I want to understand what's actually broken, why it matters, and what a good outcome looks like in concrete terms. Then I design the simplest thing that solves it — and defend that decision when someone asks for more.

I've learned to work fast without being sloppy, to communicate design decisions in the language of the people I'm working with, and to know when to push back and when to ship.
